This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all services provided by Alignx Studio Private Limited, including but not limited to branding, design, marketing, social media management, content creation, strategy, consulting, retainerships, creative services, and related business services.

2. Cancellation Requests

Cancellation requests will be considered only if they are made within 24 hours of confirming the service agreement, proposal, quotation, or project approval.

However, cancellation requests may not be accepted if work has already commenced. Work commencement includes, but is not limited to:

  • Research

  • Strategy development

  • Planning

  • Design exploration

  • Content creation

  • Copywriting

  • Creative direction

  • Project coordination

  • Internal discussions

  • Third-party coordination

  • Any other execution-related activity

Once work has started, the payment made towards the confirmed service may be treated as non-refundable, either fully or partially, depending on the scope of work completed.

3. Project-Based Services

For project-based services such as branding, website design, brochure design, presentation design, marketing collateral, campaign development, or consulting projects, cancellations will not be accepted for any phase that has already been started, completed, shared, or approved.

If a project is divided into phases, the client will not be eligible for cancellation or refund for any phase that has already commenced or been delivered.

Any cancellation request for future phases may be reviewed by Alignx Studio Private Limited on a case-by-case basis.

4. Retainer-Based Services

For monthly retainers, including social media management, content marketing, creative support, video editing, marketing support, or ongoing consulting services, cancellations will be governed by the terms mentioned in the relevant proposal, invoice, agreement, or statement of work.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, retainer payments are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started.

If the client wishes to discontinue a retainer, they must inform Alignx Studio Private Limited in writing before the next billing cycle begins.

5. Dissatisfaction with Services

If a client is dissatisfied with any deliverable or service, they are encouraged to contact us on the same day of delivery or within the feedback timeline mentioned in the relevant proposal or agreement.

We will review the concern and, where appropriate, may offer revisions, corrections, or reasonable adjustments based on the agreed scope of work.

Refunds will not be issued solely on the basis of subjective dissatisfaction if the work has been delivered according to the approved brief, agreed scope, or client-provided inputs.

6. Revisions Before Refunds

Since our services are creative, strategic, and effort-based, our first approach will be to resolve genuine concerns through revisions, corrections, or scope-aligned adjustments.

A refund, whether full or partial, will be considered only if there is a proven deficiency in the agreed service and the issue cannot be reasonably resolved through revisions or corrections.

7. Non-Refundable Services

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Work that has already been initiated

  • Work that has already been completed

  • Approved deliverables

  • Strategy, consulting, or research work already performed

  • Design, content, or creative work already shared

  • Monthly retainers after the billing cycle has started

  • Third-party costs, subscriptions, tools, software, stock assets, media spends, printing, production, or vendor payments

  • Delays caused due to pending information, feedback, approvals, or inputs from the client

8. Third-Party Platforms and Vendor Costs

Any services involving third-party platforms, vendors, tools, subscriptions, advertising platforms, payment gateways, production partners, printing vendors, or media spends will be subject to the cancellation and refund policies of the respective third parties.

Alignx Studio Private Limited shall not be responsible for refunds, credits, delays, penalties, deductions, or policy restrictions imposed by third-party vendors or platforms.

9. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved by Alignx Studio Private Limited, it will be processed within 7 business days from the date of approval.

The refund will be credited through the original mode of payment or any other mutually agreed mode.

Any applicable bank charges, payment gateway fees, taxes, or third-party deductions may be adjusted from the refundable amount, wherever applicable.

10. Final Decision

All cancellation and refund requests will be reviewed by Alignx Studio Private Limited based on the nature of the service, work completed, expenses incurred, timelines, approvals, and terms agreed with the client.

The final decision regarding cancellation, refund, partial refund, adjustment, or credit shall rest with Alignx Studio Private Limited, subject to applicable law.
